The Climate Mystery
The Climate Mystery is cross-media project that combines social networking tools with the dramatic storyline of television series.
The premise is a social networking site, similar to Facebook, that revolves around the adventures of a group of teenagers that become involved in a chain of supernatural events related to climate changes.
The users can create profiles on the pages and help the protagonists solve puzzles and give them advice on how to handle various situations.
The Climate Mystery is created to learn about climate change in an exciting manner, which utilizes platforms that are native to the target audience of 13-18 year olds.
The story will progress through the year and has an integrated use of story, community and games, where each element affects the other. This makes The Climate Mystery a compelling experience that creates a learning situation in an entertaining frame.
The Project
The Climate Mystery was born as a result of the upcoming climate summit in Copenhagen, COP15, to reduce global CO2 emission.
The project has several national and international partners with an interest in positive action to prevent global warming.
Each partner is involved in either the story or the themes of the universe to bring their profile to the front.
